Counseling

We empower you to heal, grow, and connect with what you value.

Our primary approach is Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT). We believe that therapy should yield tangibly positive outcomes. Our goal is to ensure that your progress leads to a heightened sense of fulfillment and improved life satisfaction.

Approach

Evan’s approach integrates mindfulness, compassion, and behavioral change. His interventions are evidence-based and outcome-oriented with foundations in Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT). He has advanced training and experience with autistic individuals, their families, and relational challenges associated with neurodivergence. Cultural competence is at the core of Evan’s work. Throughout his education and career, he pursued specialized training to serve Latinx individuals and families. Additionally, he has specific experience with healthcare providers, legal professionals, and individuals working in the tech industry. Evan’s practice is LGBTQIA+ affirming, and he specializes in challenges unique to gender and sexual diversity. With passion for his work as a therapist, Evan approaches each client with humility and attends to their unique needs and strengths.

Evan’s essential aim is to help his clients live meaningfully, experience connection, and develop resilience — to feel present as they do what matters most to them. He understands that seeking help is daunting under the weight of painful challenges. Finding the right therapist can be simultaneously exhausting and worthwhile. Wherever clients are in their healing process, Evan endeavors to meet them with warm, nonjudgmental support.
